FAQ and Other information

The conference begins Sunday, October 24, doors open at 8:00 AM. We will have a First Time Attendee Orientation 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM followed by the Annual "Joe Woodard Brunch" (separate registration required) 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM. Breakout sessions will begin at Noon and Main Stage will be 4:00 - 5:40 PM.

The conference will end on Wednesday, October 27 at 6 PM.

Registration for the conference is $795

The 2021 Scaling New Heights Conference will be at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

We are monitoring the COVID crisis closely, and take the safety of our attendees very seriously. At Scaling New Heights 2020 we had safety measures like masks (which we and the Marriott required in all public spaces), attendant-served and pre-prepared meals, temperature tests, social distancing, hand sanitation stations, Plexiglas shields at selected locations, and limited capacities in training rooms. For Scaling New Heights 2021 we will make the final decision on which of these safety measures we will deploy based on the most recent data and most current guidance from federal and state authorities. We will communicate updated guidance to all registrants closer to the date of the event.

In response to the global COVID-19 crisis, we made the difficult but necessary decision to move the conference from June 20-23 to October 24-27.  

We made the decision to move the dates to October in hopes that the highest number of small business advisors are able to join us for this year's event.  

We provide remote training through the Woodard Institute 355 days a year. If you are interested in remote training please check out our website at Woodard Institute.
Scaling New Heights 2021 will only be held in person in Fort Worth, TX October 24-27.

Attendees can fly into either Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport or Dallas-Love Field.  

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is approximately a 25 minute drive to the convention center and surrounding hotels.  

Dallas-Love Field is approximately a 45 minute drive to the convention center and surrounding hotels.  

Arriving at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport  attendees can: 

  • Use Uber/Lyft
  • Taxi Service
  • Trinity Railway Express (Use station in Terminal B and take to Fort Worth Central Station.  From the Fort Worth Central Station, take Molly the Trolley to your hotel)

From Dallas-Love Field attendees can: 

  • Use Uber/Lyft
  • Taxi Service

Parking is available at the Convention Center Garage/Commerce Street Garage.  The address is 1301 Commerce Street; Fort Worth, TX 76102

Rates are:

$3 per 20 minutes 

$22 per 12-14 hours


Yes.  You can earn up to 30 hours of CPE.

You are not committed to attending only one track and, in fact, we encourage you to select classes from the entire schedule that best serve your training needs. We do request you register for each breakout session through the conference app which gives us the ability to prepare each breakout room for the appropriate number of attendees. The conference app is for registered attendees only and is will be available on August 16th.

Registration can be transferred to another attendee through 9/17/2021 for an admin fee of $100. Your registration may not be transferred after 9/18/2021If you would like to transfer your registration to another attendee, send an email request to info@woodard.com.

Scaling New Heights is refundable through 5/31/2021 with the $50 administrative fee waived. After 5/31/21, the registration is not refundable.

Yes.  A luggage check station will be set up in the convention center on Wednesday, October 27 beginning at 6:30 am.  Feel free to bring your luggage and check it in so you do not have to worry with getting it from your hotel.  This service is free.  

We will have Covid-19 testing available at the convention center for any attendees who wish to be tested during the four days of the conference.  This will be a rapid antigen test.  The cost for the test is $90 and the testing company does accept insurance plans.  

Please note:  We will not require a Covid test be done in order to attend the conference.
