Why We Based Our Conference Theme Around the Yeti

Over the past 8 years, Woodard™ has challenged thousands of small business advisors to “scale new heights.” At Scaling New Heights® 2016 we launched a long term effort called “The Epic Climb” in which we will empower accountants to reach new heights in their practices.

Every advisor who calls themselves a “climber” shares certain qualities like intention, determination, passion, and the highest levels of professional expertise. But, there is another key trait common to all climbers and to everyone who wants to accept Woodard’s challenge to climb….Courage.

As small business advisors we must be brave. We must bravely accept the challenges our small business clients present to us, we must bravely explore (and adopt) new technologies, and we must bravely face the long days and strenuous workloads required by our rewarding, but sometimes exhausting, profession.

This brave response…this brave, courageous climb…is what we call “Facing the Yeti.”

About the Location for Scaling New Heights 2017

We will host Scaling New Heights 2017 in Orlando Florida, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

Nestled around a lake and secluded from the bustle of theme parks and shopping, Disney designed the Coronado Springs Resort to be a world class convention center and hotel offering a wide range of outdoor and indoor networking locations, an array of dining options, and Spanish-style guest room villas.

If you love Disney and want to bring the family, your family members will enjoy free shuttles to the parks and to other Disney World attractions while you experience your own form of “magic” at our conference. If you want to share the parks with your family, our deeply discounted guest room rates extend 3 days before and 3 days after the conference. Note: These “shoulder” nights have limited availability and are first come, first serve.

Not up for the Disney experience? No worries. Unlike Scaling New Heights 2013 we won’t be inside a Disney Theme Park this year. If you prefer, you can ignore the Disney parks a couple of miles away and enjoy a world-class convention center, with the level of service, food, and design that only a company with Disney’s focus on customer experience can offer!

Conference Price: $675 (Early Reg Pricing Ends November 28)
Room Rate: $149/night
Airport Transportation: Free
Parking: Free
Resort Fee: None
Guest Room Wi-Fi: Free

We will provide a link to reserve your guest room after you register for the conference.

  • I have been a Pro Advisor since the caveman days and accounting related material have always been less than exciting. Joe Woodard has been able to make the impossible a reality. Not only does Scaling New Heights educate you on the latest accounting technology, but also motivates you. I do regret not being able to attend prior Scaling New Heights, but never again. If you want to keep a positive outlook and a positive bottom line in your practice this is where you want to be. Don't be left behind in the dust, get in front of it at Scaling New Heights!

  • Scaling New Heights lives up to its name every year. It keeps getting better and better. The training, the vendors and the very talented, helpful attendees have helped me bring my practice to a new level. The real beneficiaries are my clients. Now we see QuickBooks as part of an eco-system that helps them bring their businesses to new heights.

  • Scaling New Heights gives us the opportunity to learn and network like no other seminar event. For those of us with small practices it also gives us the incomparable assurance that "we are not alone" in our industry. The sharing of knowledge and expertise amongst these generous, caring individuals is unmatched in my 20 years as a business professional. Going to this conference will give you the competitive advantage that will put you at the front of the pack.

  • Attending Scaling New Heights actually changed my life. The knowledge I gained from the sessions and interacting with my peers allowed me to have the confidence to start my own consulting business. I have met so many interesting people and learned skills that translate to more productivity and efficiency as a result of the sessions I have attended and the knowledge that others have shared with me. Probably the best part of meeting new people is the widening circle of friends and advisors that I now have.

    Cindy Moore
  • I am attending again. I walked away from prior Scaling New Heights conferences with knowledge about QuickBooks and add-ons that I could put to immediate use. But more importantly, I walked away with new contacts and friends that I can call on for assistance. Scaling New Heights conference fee $ Travel Expenses $ Professional contacts and resources PRICELESS.
