About the Training Event
Month-end close delays are often caused by manual categorization, missing documentation, reconciliation backlogs, inconsistent handoffs, and review bottlenecks. This webinar presents a practical framework for identifying and prioritizing those constraints and evaluating where AI-assisted analysis and workflow automation may improve the close process.
Participants will examine one-time AI-assisted analysis, repeatable accounting workflows, and close-governance processes. The session addresses the accounting context AI needs, including ledger data, supporting documentation, exception handling, audit trails, and human review and approval. Participants will also apply a five-stage close model; prepare, investigate, resolve, review, and sign off and identify measures for evaluating close-cycle time, documentation quality, review effort, and firm capacity.
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Identify and prioritize some of the biggest common bottlenecks that delay month-end close.
- Describe how AI can support one-time analysis, repetitive accounting work, monthly close activities while keeping accountants in control.
- Learn why AI is most effective when built directly into the general ledger.
- Discover how AI can standardize workflows, improve collaboration, and increase firm capacity without adding headcount.
