What Airport Do I Fly Into To Attend The Conference?

Orlando International Airport is a 20-minute commute and Orlando Sanford Airport is a 45-minute commute.

What Transportation Options Are Available?

What is the Mears Connect Shuttle service?

The Mears Connect Shuttle offers shared ride shuttle transportation to and from the airport, serving various area hotels, including the Orlando World Center Marriott.

What is the cost of the shuttle service?

The fare for the shuttle is $16 each way or $32 for a round trip.

Note:

Please be aware that Mears shuttle makes multiple stops at area hotels. Consequently, it may not stop at the Orlando World Center Marriott first after leaving the airport.

Rideshare Services

Rideshare options such as Uber and Lyft are also available in the area.


Public Transportation: The Line 311 bus operates from Orlando International Airport to the vicinity of the hotel. This is the most economical option, though travel time is longer compared to other methods. ​Line 311 Bus - Rome2Rio

How Do I Request To Be A Speaker At Scaling New Heights 2024?

The call for papers for Scaling New Heights 2025 has closed. Woodard.com will host a page for potential speakers to submit their sessions in August of 2025 for Scaling New Heights 2025. What Is The Registration Deadline?

The registration deadline is June 19 or until we sell out, whichever comes first. If you plan to attend, we strongly encourage you to secure your seat as early as possible.

When Is The Last Day To Book My Reservation Within The Conference Hotel Block?

The cutoff date for reserving a room within the conference hotel block is May 29, 2025, or until all rooms in the block are sold out, whichever comes first.

 

Is There A Conference App?

Yes, registrants will gain access to the conference app on or before June 1, 2025. There you will select the sessions you'd like to attend, add them to your daily agenda, set reminders, view the conference center map, and connect with other attendees. 

Why should I download the conference app?

Inside the conference app, you can...
  • Pick your breakout sessions 
  • Learn more about session topics
  • Receive conference updates and notifications
  • Network with other conference attendees in the activity feed
  • Earn Points: Attendees will earn points by completing activities at the conference and within the conference app.  These activities include:
    • Attending sessions (getting scanned into sessions)
    • Completing session evaluations using the link on the session page in the app (for those sessions that you attend)
    • Connecting with sponsors on the exhibit floor (allowing sponsors to scan your badge)
    • Rating Speakers and Sponsors in the app
    After the conference ends, we will find out who has the most amount of points.  The attendee with the most amount of points will earn a free "ticket to ride" for next year's conference. This will include their Scaling New Heights registration, an airfare voucher up to $350, and their hotel room (room and taxes), including an upgraded room to a suite.

How Much Does Parking On-site Cost?

Parking on-site at the Orlando World Center Marriott is available in self-parking or valet.

Will CPE Be Offered?

Up to 32 CPE credits will be available for Scaling New Heights attendees who attend with a full schedule. 

CPE and CE credit will be granted to individuals who attend a session for a minimum of 50 minutes and ensure that your badge gets scanned when entering the door.

Note: CPE credit will not be granted for overlapping or simultaneous sessions. CPE and CE certificates will be emailed directly to attendees approximately two weeks after the conference ends. 

 

Will There Be An Option To Attend Virtually?

Scaling New Heights 2025 is an in-person event only. 

Will I Receive A Confirmation Of My Registration?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation email after you successfully register. You will also receive a second email with your receipt. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam/junk if the email is still not found please email info@woodard.com. 

What Is The Cancellation Policy?

Scaling New Heights Cancellation Policy

Registration is refundable, less a nominal $50 administration fee until 2/28/25.

From 6/28/24 to 2/28/25 the registration is transferrable to another accountant or bookkeeper with the administrative fee waived.

From 3/1/25- 5/31/25, the registration may be transferred to another accountant or bookkeeper with an administrative fee of $100.

The registration is transferable inside the original purchaser's organization without the $100 fee until 06/01/25.

Will Scooters Be Available For Rent During The Conference?

There are local vendors who can assist you in accommodating your needs. Woodard does not provide Scooters or other assistance devices and is not affiliated with these companies: Learn more about scooter rentals here

Where Can I Store My Luggage If I Plan To Check Out On Wednesday?

If you are an attendee checking out on Wednesday and need a place to store your luggage until your departure, you can take your bags to a designated room (TBD) within the conference area. This room is supervised by the bell services staff, ensuring your belongings are kept safe and secure.

Are meals provided during the conference?

Yes.

On Sunday morning, breakfast is provided to registrants of the annual Practice Advancement Breakfast (available to practicing accountants and bookkeepers only).

On Monday - Wednesday all conference participants will receive breakfast and lunch included with their conference registration.

Food is served buffet style.

For conference participants with special dietary concerns, there will be ingredient cards in front of each dish that notate the key ingredients of the dishes. 


IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee our food choices provided to conference participants accommodate any specific health or religious needs/preferences. If the selections we provide at the conference are not suitable for you, we encourage you to explore the many dining opportunities in the hotel and surrounding area (see Dining Options in FAQ). Food delivery apps like Grub Hub and Uber Eats may make local options more workable for you with your busy conference schedule.

Is there a map of the resort available?

The SNH25 app will provide navigation features to help you easily find your way around the conference. Additionally, when you check in at the Marriott, you will receive a printed map of the resort to assist with your navigation.
